My name is Steve Ford and here I just record my thoughts on bible passages that I read. These blog posts are primarily a way for me to record my thoughts.

I grew up in a home where my parents were pioneers in the UK house church scene in the 1960’s and 1970’s. When I was 9 years old my Dad sold the farm he owned and brought Rora House on the outskirts of a small village on the edge of Dartmoor in Devon UK. From an early age our home was filled with lots of young people and so a house fellowship was formed.

Very quickly God began to move among us and our home became the go to place for people to meet and celebrate and give praise to God with other Christians up and down the country.

I was influenced by the ministry of G W North and later by Norman Meeten.

Rora quickly established itself as a conference centre and we saw many people saved, set free and delivered from the grip and power of sin as they reached out to God through the ministry where Jesus Christ was preached.

As I look back over those informative years I thank God for touching my life in such a way that has helped me to find Him and find Him to be faithful and sufficient in a world that fails to satisfy.
